Introduction:
Please share the great field trips you have
taken throughout the state of Missouri. This on-line project will provide
participants with an opportunity to reflect on a field trip they have taken and share it
with others. Participants will also be able to benefit from the experiences of other
students who participate in this collaborative project. Objectives:
Students will learn about the geography,
history, and places of interest in the state of Missouri. Students will exchange
information & pictures of places they have visited with other students from Missouri
and take a "virtual fieldtrip" to places they may have never had the opportunity
to see or experience first-hand.
Directions:
This report can be in the form of a Word
document, brochure, etc., and it should contain pictures of important or interesting
details and pictures of the place visited. Include a short description of the field
trip with your pictures. Document size should be limited to 1 page. There may
be historic places in or near your hometown, or you may have gone on a great field trip
outside of your town. Please tell the name of your class, school, & town and
include the county &/or town your field trip is located in. Students from
neighboring states are welcome to contribute reports on trips they have taken in Missouri,
as well. Your information will be linked on the map of Missouri so that others can
benefit from your experiences. Just e-mail your
document to our class, and we will add you to the field trip map. You can also mail
