Decision Day for Seniors was today! All of our graduating seniors had the opportunity to publicly announce whether they are enrolling in college, seeking career training, or enlisting in the military following graduation. We also recognized several scholarship winners. Here's some note worthy facts about the 2023 Senior Class • We have FIVE first generation students in this class! • 85% of the senior class has been accepted to a Post Secondary institution • 55% of the senior class has completed their FAFSA • The senior class as a whole will be receiving $111,120 towards there education. Applications for Ozarks Healthcare's 2023 M*A*S*H (Medical Academy of Science and Health) Camp are open! M*A*S*H Camp offers students in grades 7-12 plenty of hands-on opportunities to explore different areas of the healthcare field and learn from physicians on Ozarks Healthcare’s main campus. Parent letters went out last week but we wanted to share this special event on social media too! Decision Day is an event at which our graduating high school seniors will publicly announce whether they are enrolling in college, seeking career training, or enlisting in the military following graduation. Families and community members are invited to attend the event to celebrate our students’ plans for success after high school and to encourage younger students to begin planning for the future.

The Dora art show is NEXT Tuesday, May 9th! Viewing hours are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Most of the artwork featured in the show has never been seen before! Be sure to stop by and check out what the students have been working so hard on!

Exciting news! Senior Shauna Lake is the recipient of the 2023 Laura Smalley Memorial Scholarship through the Stand for the Silent Organization! Dora School had the opportunity to host Mr. Smalley this school year. Mr. Smalley and his wife started the Stand for the Silent Organization in memory of their son Ty who took his own life because of bullying. Stand for the Silent has become one of the most effective anti-bullying organizations across the Country. We are proud to be a school that can assist in bringing awareness to bullying. ATTN: 8th Grade Students Come join us on Monday, April 24th from 5:00-7:00 to meet our high school teachers. Dinner will be served by some of our students.
